“Don’t trust nobody. Not family. Not friend. Don’t let it get him like it got my son, not until he is ready to meet it. And remember that blood must pay for blood. A debt must be paid. Your boy can never forget. That is his destiny.”

Raine is at her wits’ end. Her eleven-year-old son, Davey, whom she has raised by herself, has the power to shapeshift into any animal—a “gift” from his dead father. As Raine struggles to control his abilities that are so clearly out of her realm, a darker threat moves closer—a skinwalker bent on killing Raine and Davey. But even if the skinwalker doesn’t succeed, someone closer to Raine will become just as vicious…

Cade, still grieving the brutal murder of his wife, finds solace in Raine’s companionship. But as the savage details of her death mirror the powers Davey is soon to have, Raine will have to fight to protect her son…

For me this was not the best book I have read. I do read quite a bit of paranormal books. It was a bit hard to get into but it was interesting getting the details of the characters within the book. There is some great detail in the writing with this. But I think there was so much history with the bit it got choppy with the story line.

Here in this book Raine is on the run with her 11 year old son Davey bouncing around from town to town. Running from the person or thing who killed her sons father before he was even born. Here they meet up with Cade whos wife was brutally murdered, and it just might all be connected somehow.

Even though this book is paranormal it reads as a horror story at times. Its not a book for everyone.

This Science Fiction & Fantasy story explores the clash of cultures, prejudice and war, and the promise of love and peace.

In a world where water and earth teem with life, Serafay is an anomaly. The result of genetic experiments on her mother’s water-borne line, Serafay will have to face the very people responsible for her mother’s torture to discover who she really is. But is she the only one?

Two Moons of Sera, where to begin. I had a hard time getting into this book but I tell you only reason was because it was a different kind of read then I am used to. Once I got into it I was hooked.

Pavarti K. Tyler you have created a totally different universe in this book. Not many authors can do that. Many intertwine them into today’s society or old world. But here, you create two whole races who are at war.. There are definitely powerful messages here to be had, differences of races, war, love. You have a young girl who is the heroine coming into her own. Who tries to find who she is and where does she belong.

The book is fast paced and has alot of details. But if you stick with it, its great. I loved it. Only thing I didn’t like was the ending, why did it end. Have to read the second book.

The swamps hold many mysteries, but few are as sinuously seductive as Le Poivre de Cayenne. The woman the locals call Pepper is every bit as enigmatic as the three little girls she’s desperately trying to protect. From what, Wyatt is soon to discover. Right now Pepper needs a man like Wyatt. Passionately. But her secrets are about to take them both deeper into the bayou than either imagined—where desire is the deadliest poison of all.

I couldn’t wait on this book. Feehan did not disappoint on this one. I was completely drawn into the book. Played with my emotions in major ways, I was angry, happy, laughing, all of it. I enjoyed this book very much. There wasn’t much interaction with the rest of the team but they weren’t needed although many were mentioned. This book was exciting, high action and very passionate, pure adrenaline rush. What a great way to bring Wyatt and Pepper to life.

This book starts out hard and fast and has u wanting to toss the book, e reader, PC, or kindle across the room from the first chapter. You will have a hard time getting threw it without wanting to commit murder yourself. I had to walk away a few times to calm down so I couldn’t finish it in a day. but this is one of Christine’s best books so far in the series. LOVE IT…..

Wow, Great book. Echo and DJ are brought together in circumstances that don’t seem possible. Echo a genetically engineered assassin and DJ a born-werewolf Marine. Both prisoners for all intent and purposes as there are basically blackmailed to work or the ones they love and care for are killed. I enjoyed the passion that builds between the two as well as the playfulness of the two. Lia Silver you sure did keep me entertained with this book. It’s a great way to start a series. I can’t wait to read the others.

In this book Astrid find herself in Tuscany this time far away from her ex Killian, hopefully?!. She starts dating again but runs into someone she doesn’t want to be near, or doesn’t she. Kendrick makes her wolf interested. Can he be trusted? Was he sent by Killian? He is the brother of her ex?  Saving her life she starts to trust and after a long time of no shifting runs free with him. How long will it last.  This book was great. Wish there was a little more back story but in all was pretty good short story., Also the overview of the book says standalone with no cliffhanger, to me it is a bit of a cliffhanger but maybe its just me wanting more. Especially since they are moving so close to the pack again.
