This book was good.

We meet Claire and her son Jonathan. They are waiting for her husband to come back from Afghanistan when her son mentions seeing military men in the front yard. She learns that her husband died and she feels like her life is falling apart again. She moves back to the ranch she grew up on.

A few years pass and she is celebrating her anniversary and comes to terms with the fact that they are losing their home after her father had a stroke she is learning how much they are in debt. She ends up literally running into her Ex the man who broke her heart Tanner and wants nothing to do wit him.

She learns that her father asked him for help and she doesn’t want it. She wants him gone but is it because of the secrete she has been keeping for the past 10 years that he is really her son’s father? Will she let her past go and move on so they can save the farm or will she let it keeps blinders on an lose out again? 

What will happen next? Will they work things out? Will he leave the rodeo for her this time? Is he ready to be a dad?

His most wanted was an interesting read for me. Different from the many books I’ve read and review. Here you have two individuals very strong willed. A man Kit turning his life around, he once owned a brothel. And she has a secret life that keeps women safe. But is she also the woman, the murdered he was hired to find. Enjoyed this read, I’ll have to get ms Jones other books in this river rogue series.

The book was good. There were areas that will make you laugh out loud. You can feel like you are going threw the things that Hope is. You are able to relate to her in this story very well. I like how the family pulls together to show them what they were doing wrong. The lesson in the story is that you cant expect your spouse to know what is going on without good communication. That you need to take the bad with the good and to give new things a chance.

Oh wow. This is part 6 in the series and the first one I have read. Easton has woman issues but he doesn’t ask for it he is fighting it. Jessica’s world just fell apart will she accept the Montgomery families help? Will they be able to work out their differences? What will happen next on the ranch?

This is book three I am reading this as a standalone I haven’t read the rest of the series. But wow this is a really good book. it took me a bit to read it because in the beginning it for me was slow. But when I buckled down and kept reading I couldn’t stop. This story is very moving. She learns to confront her past and move on from it. She learns that love can heal anything. And that you can still have your dream you just need to tweak it a bit.

 Took my time reading this book. It was really good too. I love how they find love without looking. we meet a retired cowboy who is trying to find a new path. He finds out he is a father and then the mother died of a mystery illness. The town is on lock down. The person he hired as a cook just took on more responsibility. When her stalker shows up. What will they do? Will they make it? Will they catch him? Will they figure out what the illness is?

Country Heaven is a good start to the series, cant wait to read the more. Vicki does a great job in bringing her characters to life There was a good mixture of romance, love, suspense and drama in the book you had to keep going. Most books read as the men being the party ones. But here in Country Heaven a father tries to curb his daughter Sadie ways of partying by sending her to a ranch. So what happens when you put a spoiled city girl on a ranch, You will just have to read and enjoy the book.

ARC Review:

WOW what a way to find out that you almost made the biggest mistake of your life. You find that you can’t settle for what someone else wants from you but what you really want for yourself. Trying to be in a relationship where your partner wants you to change you will never be happy and it will never really work. By finding someone who accepts you for yourself is the greatest thing and that is what we all should try to reach for it is a great beginning to any relationship.

I am grateful to Cheryl for writing a great story of finding ones true self even if it is outside of what you would normally do.

WOW what a great story. This is a story that you can sink your teeth into. Girl loves cowboy, cowboy has issues but realizes he loves girl. Boy runs away scared and loses what he really wants and has to figure out his own life.

Girl makes bad choices but lives with her choice tries to make the best of it. Grows stronger from it and moves on with her life and raising her son.

Cowboy fights for his beliefs and makes the ultimate sacrifice. He feels that he has nothing but his ranch to fight for and gives up on everything else.

Girl comes back in to cowboys life and turns it upside down and makes him face his issues instead of hiding behind them. They make the ultimate choice and have a wonderful life the life they should of always had a life together.
